New           When running in Terminal Services Rentman will now shutdown if the terminal server session is logged off or disconnected.

New         "Pay from Client Account" check box on tenant invoices. If this is checked the invoice will appear in the Transfer(invoices) screen. Use when money to pay an invoice is deducted from the client account rather than received direct into the office account.

New          When importing Rentman resizes photos to reduce file size; in the past Rentman has used 600pixels (for the longest edge) and a JPEG quality of 75% which is adequate for most purposes and produces a file size of approx 50k. There are now options on the Misc screen to customize the size and JPEG quality settings used. The default settings will now be 800pixels and 85% quality which produces a file size of approx 120k. Note : changing these settings will only affect subsequent imports and not those photos already imported.  

New          Resize JPEGs option on Misc screen. It is strongly recommended that photos are resized when imported into Rentman. The limitations imposed by screens, printers and PDF drivers make it highly unlikely you will derive any benefit from the extra size but you will pay a price in performance - not just in Rentman but the network generally.

New          New Window Display reports show bullet points of the property's main features. These bullet points are compiled from the property information already entered but can be edited. On the advertising tab of the property screen is a new control showing the bullet points. When editing you can drag and drop to reorder the list and you can click twice on any one item to change the text. Right click the control to reset the bullet points to the default (as compiled by Rentman).

New          For users without a local email client already configured Rentman can now connect directly to an SMTP mail server. See new email tab on agents screen to configure the mail server settings.
