Several property firms are reporting expansion.
Among them is Winkworth, which has opened its 88th office, in Lewes, Sussex.
This is the sixth new office in the UK this year for the franchise company, following earlier openings in Romsey, Bath and Northampton.
Dominic Agace, CEO of Winkworth, said the latest office opening was in line with expansion plans to open in key towns across the south of England.
Nick and Sarah Turck are the new franchisees and have brought in branch manager Martin Hyre, who has over 20 years of estate agency experience.
Also in Sussex, Cubitt & West, part of the Arun Estates Group, has opened a new office in the Kemp Town district of Brighton. Now with nine branches in and around the city, Cubitt & West has a total of 43 across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.
Leaders has also expanded, by buying Accent Property Management in Cambridge, giving the firm its 26th branch. It is the furthest north that Leaders has been from its original base in Brighton.
Meanwhile, Harrison Murray has extended its lettings service in Cambridgeshire to include full property management and rent collection services. The new service will operate from Harrison Murray’s three existing local residential branches in Chatteris, Wisbech and March.
Wisbech-based lettings negotiator Clare Hotson will oversee the operation locally, with the overall service being managed by the company’s central lettings hub in Leicester.
