Student letting agent scoops award

A letting agent has been honoured with a prize at a national annual awards ceremony.
Brett Butcher of Derby-based company MyLet.com won the Student of the Year for Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management.
Student of the Year for Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property went to Jeannie Kirkbride from John Payne in Blackheath and Helen Montague from Shouler and Son, Melton Mowbray, won the Commercial Property Agency technical student.
Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals - which includes letting agent body Arla - said: "Our members pride themselves on learning and following best practice to ensure consumers are treated properly and fairly whether buying, renting or letting a property."
Earlier this year, letting agent My London Home won a Gold award at the ESTAs 2010, a ceremony which celebrates the achievements of estate and letting agents.
