RICS puts a restaurant on the menu

The RICS has a new project on the menu and it’s nothing to do with valuations. Today, a new Roux restaurant opens at the RICS headquarters in Parliament Square.
Michelin-starred Michel Roux Junior is in charge of the restaurant, which will be on the ground and first floors of the Grade Two listed building.
Called Roux at Parliament Square, the food is described as modern European cooking and sounds only mildly pretentious: customers will be able to choose something called ‘glazed heritage carrots’ to go with their loin of Gloucester Old Spot.
However, no doubt the foodies will lap it all up. Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be a press launch (meanies!) but no doubt Big T will be among the first to sample the menu.
The restaurant is open Monday to Friday noon to 11pm and Saturday from 6pm. You can book on 020 7334 3737 or by email to roux@rics.org
We wonder if the NAEA is thinking of launching a similar venture – not that Roux at Arbon House has quite the same ring.
