The opportunity to have wider marketing opportunities is one of the reasons given to explain why two residential letting firms in Peterborough have joined forces.
Countrywide Residential Lettings has moved in with Bairstow Eves estate agents to boost the two companies' profiles and they will trade under the name of Bairstow Eves Lettings, reports the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.
Property software could also help the collaboration with its forthcoming marketing practices.
Alison Nunez, area manager of the Association of Residential Letting Agent (Arla)-registered Countrywide Residential Lettings, explained: "We are both part of the same Countrywide Group, and by adopting the Bairstow Eves name, we will have a higher profile and wider marketing opportunities linked to the estate agency network."
The group is looking to capitalise on what Ms Nunez called the "lettings boom", unlike other estate agents.
Earlier this week, Arla's operations manager Ian Potter suggested landlords with "a keen eye" could find a number of property bargains since prices have dropped over the last 12 months.
