Lettings revenues processed using rent collection software will remain steady this year, if one expert's predictions are anything to go by.
According to director of LandlordZONE.co.uk Tom Entwistle, current market conditions will see demand remain strong for rental properties.
He explained that mortgages are out of the reach of many first-time buyers, while uncertainty over job security will also see more people turn to lettings.
A recent study by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has also found that supply of rental properties is falling, which could also keep rents high.
Mr Entwisle remarked: "If demand is strong and supply has fallen, then in theory there is less competition between landlords. Rents should at least hold steady."
The National Landlords Association recently claimed optimism among landlords is at its highest since 2007.
Some 57 per cent of landlords believe their prospects are good or very good for the next three months.
