Unusual and unique homes may attract bigger rental price tags than conventional homes, an expert has suggested.
Jessica Clark, home party manager at Unique Home Stays, said that unique homes are often in "breath-taking locations" and so can bring in a greater rental yield than typical domiciles.
Ms Clark suggests that it only takes landlords to find one person that believes it is the home for them and their job is done.
This is often complicated by the fact that there is unlikely to be an "influx of many, many buyers who are interested in that type of property".
However, Ms Clark also suggested that quirky property dwellers tend to remain in the property for many years.
