Moving occasion: today's the day!

The most popular moving date is today, September 1, the Post Office has revealed.
The two next busiest moving dates are August 28 and July 31.
It says it can tell because of the number of requests it gets for redirecting mail.
However, the Post Office says that people generally prepare very poorly for a home move – in particular, not informing their telephone and broadband supplier.
It has now published an online checklist.
