Landlords and letting agents in the Lincolnshire area have been invited to attend a symposium to discuss the implications of the introduction of energy performance certificates.
The forums will be held in a range of locations across the county and are free to attend.
Among the topics covered by the meetings will be how the council and its partners can assist them in complying with the new regulation and the grants and funding that may be available to them.
Venues confirmed to be hosting events include City Hall, Lincoln, at 6pm on Thursday August 21st and Municipal Buildings, Boston, at 7pm on Tuesday September 2nd, the Horncastle News reports.
EPCs will be a legal requirement for landlords from October 1st 2008.
The certificates will enable potential tenants to see how energy efficient a home is on a scale of A-G, with the most efficient homes given an A-ranking.
