Letting agents 'can quickly find suitable tenants'

Landlords have been advised that using a letting agent can enable them to find suitable tenants for their houses quicker.

Gary Grandin from letting agent Garabys said in a piece for Articlesbase that landlords could see numerous benefits from using an agency to rent out their properties.

According to Mr Grandin, one of the most important of these is that letting agents can ensure that rent is paid on time.

This can help a landlord to avoid their properties being repossessed, as they will be able to keep up with the mortgage payments more easily.

Letting agents can also be handy for helping to fix problems with the house.

Mr Grandin stated that they often have a network of tradesmen such as plumbers and electricians on hand in case any problems arise for the tenants.

The advice from Mr Grandin comes after Michael Oakes of letting agent Young London advised landlords to test potential letting agents on matters such as Home Information Packs to see how informed they are.
