Claire Empson has won a letting agent award at a ceremony held by the National Landlords Association (NLA).
She was named as the NLA Letting Agent Property Woman at the bash, which celebrates the achievements of women who work in the business.
NLA Property Woman of the Year 2010 went to Gateshead landlady Juliet Ashton-Taylor, who award ceremony host and television presenter Melissa Porter said fully deserves the gong.
"She has proven that with the right application, sheer hard work and determination, property can be a sound investment that has the ability to change your life," she commented, adding that Ms Ashton-Taylor is an excellent role model for women and a "true inspiration".
Chairman of the NLA David Salusbury praised the standard for each of the awards, which included one for each region, as well as the NLA Green Property Woman prize, won by Tracey Abbiss.
NLA spokesman Vincenzo Rampulla recently stated that the government must make changes to local housing allowance.
