A lettings agent in Yorkshire has expanded its business with the acquisition of a rival firm.
Linley & Simpson has taken over Jordan's in York with all properties previously on its books transferring to the new owners.
The deal marks the second acquisition made by Linley & Simpson in the last 12 months, following its purchase of Lawton Letting at the end of last year.
Kathryn Burton, branch manager at the company's York outpost, told the York Press: "The deal brings together two familiar names on letting boards across York and beyond.
"It offers landlords and property investors the opportunity of being able to access a greater pool of prospective tenants. Tenants also benefit by having a wider choice of properties to match their needs."
Jordan's collapsed earlier this year after its parent company was forced to close having accrued £250 million of debt.
