Letting agent launches mobile site

One of the country's leading letting agents has launched a mobile site.

Rightmove.co.uk will feature all of the properties available to buy and to rent on the full site but will now be accessible from mobile phones, opening up access to the letting agent's database to a larger audience.

Miles Shipside, commercial director of Rightmove, stated that the opening of the site is set to be crucial for the letting agent as it branches out into the mobile sector.

"Home-hunters want access to Rightmove wherever they are and now with the new mobile site more people can search our properties on the move than ever before," he said.

He explained that research conducted by the letting agent has indicated that on certain days - for instance when the weather is warm - more people view the available properties from their smartphones rather than their computers.

Mark Garner, director and founder of landlord community LettingZone, recently stated that landlords and letting agents will see no change in the market over the coming months.
