A letting agent in Staffordshire has stated that enquiries about lettings are increasing.
According to regional letting agent Jayman, more and more landlords are choosing to rent their properties through a letting agent rather than privately.
Suzanne Bosson, residential lettings manager at the letting agent, stated that the number of enquiries made to their office is not slowing down.
Speaking to the Sentinel, she said: "We have found the number of lettings enquiries throughout our office network has increased significantly during the first quarter of 2010."
Ms Bosson added that many landlords prefer to employ a letting agent to rent their homes as for a ten per cent cut of the rent they save themselves a lot of time.
She explained that many landlords prefer to select a full management service from a letting agent so they can concentrate on their day job.
This follows Lucy Morton, president of Arla, telling MyIntroducer.com that landlords must use an experienced letting agent so they get the best price for their property.
