A leading letting agent has advised homeowners who are struggling to sell their property to consider renting out the house instead.
Paul Weller, managing director at letting agent Leaders, stated that renting a house out could be a solution for people who need to move quickly but cannot sell.
He said: "Demand for rental property is stronger than ever and good quality properties are being snapped up by tenants as soon as they become available."
Mr Weller added that landlords and letting agents are experiencing a "buoyant" market, because many people are unable to sell their homes at the moment for a variety of reasons.
These include that people are uncertain about the state of the economy, that it allows people to move closer to work and it is also a flexible and affordable way of life, the letting agent managing director explained.
East Anglia letting agent Britton's recently announced it is to sponsor King's Lynn Town for the upcoming football season, reports the Lynn News.
