A landlord event in Berkshire next week may highlight how people who rent out their property can benefit from maintaining a close relationship with local universities.
The University of Reading is hosting the evening, which will see members of the lettings industry gather to discuss good practice in the student rental accommodation market.
Various pieces of advice will be on offer to those who head to the night on Wednesday April 22nd, the same day as chancellor Alistair Darling's 2009 Budget speech.
Kay Dickinson, the University of Reading's accommodation officer, said: "The University and the borough council has built up a strong relationship with many local landlords and this is demonstrated by the increasing popularity of this event in recent years."
She added that landlords can find out ways to make their properties more attractive to potential tenants.
Other property management issues, such as new legislation and required standards, will also be discussed during the evening.
