The first Landlord Association Audit has shown that landlords are generally confident that they will continue to fill their properties in the future.
Website landlordexpert.co.uk has seen a copy of the first Landlord Association study and has reported that 64 per cent of landlords are confident in the buy-to-let sector.
Nearly two thirds (63 per cent) said that they still expect to be landlords in five years time.
In addition, around a third (30 per cent) said that they had expanded their portfolio of property over the last six months.
However, the site reported that the study revealed some concerns that landlords expressed. Nearly two-fifths (38 per cent) said that they are worried that tenants now have more protection than landlords do.
A quarter (27 per cent) revealed that they fear that their current tenants will not pay all the rent they should while they live in the property.
Recently, an industry expert said that many landlords were trying to avoidnew Tenancy Deposit Schemes by not charging their tenants any deposit at all.
