Hunters Property Group, the northern-based estate agency looking to roll out nationwide through ‘Personal Agent’ franchising, has seven new recruits in Leeds. They bring the total number in the city to ten.
The concept involves franchising home-based agents to sell and let properties in their own communities.
The new agents will all work closely with Stephen Berson, Hunters’ Master Franchisee for Leeds, and Sheree Hughes, the Leeds office manager.
They are: Ed Catchpole, Pav Flora, David and Robert Bloom, Richard Bray, and Lindsay Moody and Suki Gill. Only one, Richard Bray, has previous estate agency service.
Catchpole, who has a degree in real estate management, previously worked as an assistant surveyor for Carter Jonas in Leeds before becoming a land buyer for Shepherd Homes, based in York. He subsequently was appointed Land Manager for Miller Homes, based in Wakefield.
Pav Flora currently manages two small property portfolios on behalf of investors. Before moving into property, he was a self-employed revenues consultant to local authorities.
David Bloom and his son Robert have strong links to the property market: David is a former financial adviser and mortgage broker and Robert, a qualified electrician, has his own property maintenance business.
Lindsay Moody, who met Suki Gill while they were working for the same financial services company, is a former professional cricketer who subsequently spent four years working for West Yorkshire Police.
