House not selling? Call in a healer!

This could be a silly season story or one that Jules in mystic Glastonbury will immediately take very seriously indeed (perhaps he could let us know).
So, you have a property that is refusing to sell. What’s the solution? Well, you could try the obvious and cut the price – or you could call in an earth energy healer.
As you do.
It’s all about karma. Or at least something called ‘geopathic stress’ which can apparently prevent even the most successful agent selling – or letting – a property.
According to healer Alison Wilding, many hard-to-shift properties have geopathic stress, which she tells us is also known as negative earth energies or black streams.
“When this is corrected, they sell,” she tells us,almost grammatically.
Furthermore, she claims: “An increasing number of forward-thinking estate agents have acknowledged this condition and are seeking help to clear geopathic stress from houses which have been on their books for some time.”
So, what is geopathic stress? And can it affect properties anywhere, not just in Basingstoke, Luton and Abergavenny?
“It has been recognised for a number of years and is now being widely accepted as a genuine phenomenon,” says Wilding. “The term comes from GEO, meaning earth, and PATHIC, meaning to cause suffering or dis-ease,” she says.
Apparently, the stress may be caused by pylons, geological faults, underground streams, and electro-magnetic fields emanating from such horrors as mobile phone masts, computers, mobile phones, sat-navs and microwave ovens.
Occupants of a house affected by geopathic stress suffer from lethargy and exhaustion (gosh, and here at EAT, we thought it was just the heatwave affecting us).
So how does this affect a property’s selling potential?
“This is the curious part,” says Wilding. “At an unconscious level, the prospective purchaser will sense that something feels wrong, even though they may not be able to put it into words.
“Similarly, estate agents will often say they have a hunch that a place may prove difficult to sell. It has nothing to do with the décor, the garden or the way it is furnished – it just feels uncomfortable in a way which is easy to sense but difficult to describe.”
Wilding is now offering an introductory package to agents wanting to try her service. She invites them to send a sketch plan of two properties free of charge for an earth energy check and healing.
She will let you know when she has done the healing work and will contact you again after a couple of weeks to see how things are progressing.
