ESTAS awards launched today: the ones that really matter

Today, we're proud to announce the official launch of the Estate & Letting Agent Awards 2011 – the awards with a real difference and the only awards which really matter.
The awards, known throughout the industry as the ESTAS, are once again sponsored by EAT in association with Rayner Recruitment and HomeLet, and are supported by the RICS.
The competition is unique because unlike other awards, the winners are voted for by the customers themselves, who rate the agent on the level of service provided. This makes the ESTAS a true mark of an agency team’s ability to meet the different needs and requirements of their clients.
Simon Brown, MD of Awards for Business, owners of the ESTAS, explains: “The ESTAS set out to recognise the team performance of every agency that takes part. We know that from the receptionist to the office manager, everyone in the agency plays their part to ensure the customer is looked after, and they should be applauded for that.
“These awards are not about how well you write your submission, or how well you answer questions in a telephone interview – they’re about the things you do every day. The ESTAS reward the people who make a difference and at the same time help agencies to focus on customer service levels, and that’s why so many keep coming back.”
Last year over 400 agencies took part, generating more than 19,000 votes from clients. This year agents can use the official ESTAS logo as soon as they sign up, highlighting their commitment to quality customer service to potential clients.
Brown said: “We know the market is still going to be difficult for the foreseeable future, so what better way to give yourself the edge over the competition than by signing up for the ESTAS.”
