Specialist Lettings Management (SLM) has been acquired by Countrywide Residential Lettings (CRL), it has been announced.
The deal will see the CRL's network of lettings agents grow by nine to 204, with the new offices located in Lincoln, Doncaster, Hull, Stockton on Tees, Sunderland, Brighouse, Bolton, Blackpool and Southport.
CRL, which is a division of Countrywide, will also acquire two regional leasehold block management centres, propertyweek.com reports.
John Hards, managing director of CRL, said: "SLM is known in the north as a professional and successful lettings operation, which is overseen by a hugely experienced senior management team.
"SLM's network of offices are an excellent strategic fit with CRL and their branch locations sit well within our current network."
Mr Hards also outlined plans for the company's further expansion this year and said that it is aiming to have extended its branch network to 231 by the end of 2008.
