Britain's ugliest buildings– have your say

As Building Design magazine reveals its shortlist for Britain’s ugliest buildings, we thought agents should have their say.
Four out of the six on the list are, unsurprisingly, modern city centre apartment blocks. There’s Strata at London’s Elephant & Castle; Bezier Apartments, also in London; The Cube in Birmingham; and St Anne’s Square, Belfast.
Here at EAT, we don’t think Building Design is trying nearly hard enough.
St Anne’s Square is actually rather beautiful – unless you’re a snooty, pretentious architect, which may account for Building Design’s viewpoint.
But where are the real carbuncles?
EAT’s own nomination is for the bright yellow apartment blocks nestling by Basingstoke railway station: ghastly beyond belief and the slums of tomorrow. Sadly, there’s something like them in almost every town: Woking, Surbiton and all stations to Waterloo.
Anyway, please feel free to nominate your own pet blots on the landscape.
