AHIPP'Hitler'film hits the bunker

Sad news for film buffs: the ‘Hitler’ video spoof of AHIPP has been removed from YouTube.
The scenes, showing a ranting Fuhrer apparently sounding off in his bunker about the Tories and Home Information Packs, were a great hit in the industry.
As one enthusiast remarked, the video was viewed many more times than HIPs themselves.
Our own favourite line was where a weeping woman listening to the apoplectic ranting is comforted with the words: “Don’t worry, Rosalind, he was never going to advertise anyway.”
Most of the Hitler parodies have been taken down after the owners of the rights to the original film, Downfall, decided to protect their copyright.
However, it is understood that several copies of the Mike Ockenden spoof video were downloaded before the ban, and are still doing the rounds.
After the election, maybe agents will be handing them out to vendors instead of HIPs.
