Roy Brooks lives again – this time in Dorset, where Mr Green estate agents have a bungalow on their books.
The particulars tell it like it is – no nonsense about potential and a little updating required: “Untamed bushes. Mould inside the windows. Large room pretending to be a kitchen. To say it’s not looked after would be a little bit of an understatement. If you’re either brave, or unfortunate enough to want to view this property, please drop me an email.”
Simon Ward, who runs the firm, used to be a mortgage consultant before deciding to switch careers.
He describes his firm as one for the 21st century and declares that he will always use plain English.
We think he might give our mate Julian Bending in Glastonbury a run for his money.
