This year will be a good period for letting agents across the country, it has been predicted.
Jon Brown, partner relationship manager at online change of address service iammoving.com, said that 2010 could be the year of the landlord and the letting agent.
He explained that letting agents have seen an improvement in the rental sector since the crash in the market in 2008.
"That being said, we will not see and should not aspire to achieve the levels of property price and sales seen before the recession, it is simply not sustainable," he commented.
He predicts that over time there will be a change in attitudes towards renting accommodation, with more people willing to become tenants.
With letting agents set to be busier, they may find they can benefit from using a property management system.
Mr Brown was speaking after the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors found that since April 2009, house prices have risen by ten per cent.
